Description
EyeSeeCam vHIT
EyeSeeCam vHIT is an advanced video head impulse testing system designed for fast, accurate, and objective evaluation of vestibular function. It is widely used by audiologists, ENT specialists, neurologists, and balance clinics to assess dizziness and vestibular disorders through measurement of the Vestibulo-Ocular Reflex (VOR).
Key Features
- Tests all six semicircular canals
- Objective VOR measurement with real-time eye and head tracking
- 3D head model for accurate head impulse guidance
- Detection of covert and overt saccades
- Lightweight, non-slip goggles suitable for adults and children
- Integrated inertial measurement unit (IMU) for precise head movement analysis
- High-speed 220 Hz camera recording for superior eye tracking
- USB connectivity with no additional hardware required
- Easy-to-clean silicone contact surfaces
- Exportable clinical data for documentation and research
Advanced Clinical Performance
EyeSeeCam vHIT provides accurate vestibular assessment by capturing rapid eye movements during head impulses. The system offers real-time visual and audio feedback to help clinicians perform head impulses correctly within the recommended velocity range of 150–300° per second.
The software includes:
- Instantaneous gain measurements at 40, 60, and 80 ms
- Velocity regression analysis
- Gain plots and numerical data tables
- Polar plots for vertical canal testing
- Comprehensive catch-up saccade analysis
